North East Downs Landcare has received funding through the Caring for our Country program to assist landholders to manage and protect small patches of endangered vegetation in the northern and eastern Darling Downs.

The funding will be available to landholders through a competitive tender process to be rolled out over the next few months.

Eligible vegetation will belong to one of the following four categories:

*     Semi-evergreen vine thicket

*     Brigalow

*     Box-gum grassy woodland

*     Queensland bluegrass
