“Creating a safe environment for Landcare Members”

To up skill and educating Landcare Members in regard to changes in Occupational Health & Safety Policy.

A series of 3 workshops and 3 training days were held throughout the North East Downs Landcare region targeting Landcare areas. Workshops were held to update members on changes to Occupational Health and Safety legislation and associated risk management. The training days complemented the workshops by assisting volunteers to acquire the skills to use correct electronic record keeping procedures.

Members were educated on how to manage occupational health and safety issues and how to carry out risk assessments on their properties and at events and meetings.
